# CanGoal vs 40SEC

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: 40SEC at 13.0 against CanGoal's 16.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CanGoal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 40SEC sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CanGoal ships an update every 11 days, 40SEC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
