# Ask & Embla vs SaverBear

The clearest difference is monetization model: SaverBear at free against Ask & Embla's free with in-app purchases. SaverBear also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and device support (3 vs 1). Ask & Embla's advantage is ratings volume (744 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Ask & Embla against 5.0 for SaverBear. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ask & Embla has 744 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
