# ChatSpace vs Flash

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flash at 100% against ChatSpace's 16%. Flash also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ChatSpace's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4K vs 3). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatSpace sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Flash asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatSpace has 4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of ChatSpace's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flash's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
