# ChatSpace vs Nebenchat

The clearest difference is ads: ChatSpace at none against Nebenchat's shown. ChatSpace also leads on chart position (#61 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Nebenchat's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatSpace sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Nebenchat sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatSpace ships an update fortnightly, Nebenchat every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
