# ChatSpace vs 40 Second Stories

The clearest difference is update cadence: 40 Second Stories at every 3 days against ChatSpace's fortnightly. ChatSpace's advantage is chart position (#61 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatSpace sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 40 Second Stories sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChatSpace ships an update fortnightly, 40 Second Stories every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
