# TAC vs ScribblePad

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScribblePad at every 4 days against TAC's every 3 months. TAC's advantage is iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TAC ships an update every 3 months, ScribblePad every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
