# LogTimer vs Caffeinated Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Caffeinated Notes at every 3 weeks against LogTimer's every 2 months. Caffeinated Notes also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LogTimer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year and Caffeinated Notes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LogTimer ships an update every 2 months, Caffeinated Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
