# String Art vs Intermix

String Art and Intermix both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of Intermix's written reviews are positive against 37% of String Art's. Intermix also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). String Art's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 3.6K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. String Art sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Intermix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for String Art against 4.6 for Intermix. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: String Art has 26K ratings behind it against 3.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
