# Keet vs thingz

The clearest difference is monetization model: Keet at free against thingz's free with in-app purchases. Keet also leads on chart position (#118 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). thingz's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (768 vs 255). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

thingz holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 255 and 768 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Keet's written reviews are positive against 58% of thingz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Keet ships an update every 5 days, thingz every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
