# LavaBall vs Hacking Hero

The clearest difference is rating: LavaBall at 5.0 against Hacking Hero's 4.1. LavaBall also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). Hacking Hero's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LavaBall sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Hacking Hero sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LavaBall holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hacking Hero has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
