# Focus Timer & Keeper vs pomo

The clearest difference is update cadence: pomo at every 2 months against Focus Timer & Keeper's every 32 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Timer & Keeper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and pomo sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Timer & Keeper ships an update every 32 months, pomo every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
