# TR Save Editor vs Karing

The clearest difference is price: Karing at Free against TR Save Editor's $2.99. Karing also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Karing is free to download; TR Save Editor costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Karing holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Karing has 679 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of TR Save Editor's written reviews are positive against 74% of Karing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TR Save Editor ships an update every 4 months, Karing fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
