# InkTale vs NovelsReader

The clearest difference is review sentiment: InkTale at 50% against NovelsReader's 7%. InkTale also leads on rating (4.0 vs 1.4) and ads (none vs shown). NovelsReader's advantage is iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InkTale sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and NovelsReader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
