# Habit Tracker vs Gridwork

The clearest difference is monetization model: Gridwork at free against Habit Tracker's free with in-app purchases. Gridwork also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Habit Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Habit Tracker sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Gridwork sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gridwork holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Habit Tracker has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
