# RefMetrix vs RefMasters Community

The clearest difference is ratings volume: RefMasters Community at 190 against RefMetrix's 4. RefMetrix's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RefMetrix sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and RefMasters Community sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for RefMetrix against 4.9 for RefMasters Community. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RefMasters Community has 190 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
