# SCRIBL vs Sundays

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SCRIBL at none against Sundays's 3. SCRIBL also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). Sundays's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (122 vs 5). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sundays sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. SCRIBL asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SCRIBL against 4.9 for Sundays. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sundays has 122 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of SCRIBL's written reviews are positive against 89% of Sundays's.

SCRIBL ships an update every 4 days, Sundays fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
