# SenPlayer vs Streamyfin

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Streamyfin at none against SenPlayer's 5. SenPlayer's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SenPlayer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Streamyfin asks for nothing beyond the download.
