# Goofer vs Gossip.

The clearest difference is monetization model: Goofer at free with in-app purchases against Gossip.'s subscription. Goofer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Gossip.'s advantage is ratings volume (634 vs 1) and chart position (#162 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goofer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Gossip. sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Goofer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gossip. has 634 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Goofer ships an update weekly, Gossip. monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
