# Aura vs STARTED

The clearest difference is update cadence: STARTED at every 5 days against Aura's every 2 months. Aura's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aura sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and STARTED sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aura ships an update every 2 months, STARTED every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
