# Lifelog vs DecisionLoop

The clearest difference is ads: DecisionLoop at none against Lifelog's shown. Lifelog's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lifelog sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DecisionLoop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lifelog ships an update every 3 days, DecisionLoop every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
