# WoWidget vs WidgetKit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WoWidget at 100% against WidgetKit's 27%. WoWidget also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1). WidgetKit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (224 vs 34). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WoWidget sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and WidgetKit sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WoWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WidgetKit has 224 ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of WoWidget's written reviews are positive against 27% of WidgetKit's.

WoWidget ships an update weekly, WidgetKit every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
