# Goaly vs Snapnote

The clearest difference is ads: Goaly at none against Snapnote's shown. Goaly also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Goaly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Snapnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Goaly ships an update every 5 days, Snapnote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
