# Fun Topics vs Talky

The clearest difference is ads: Talky at none against Fun Topics's shown. Talky also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fun Topics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Talky sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Topics ships an update every 3 weeks, Talky every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
