# Chroma Hue vs Security App for iPhone

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chroma Hue at 83% against Security App for iPhone's 33%. Chroma Hue also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Security App for iPhone's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chroma Hue sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Security App for iPhone sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Security App for iPhone holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 77 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Chroma Hue's written reviews are positive against 33% of Security App for iPhone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
