# Snake Evolution vs Sword Strike

The clearest difference is price: Snake Evolution at Free against Sword Strike's $1.99. Sword Strike's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Snake Evolution is free to download; Sword Strike costs $1.99 up front. Snake Evolution sells 15 one-off in-app purchases and Sword Strike sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Snake Evolution ships an update every 5 weeks, Sword Strike fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
