# Horse Evolution vs Slime Evolution 2

The clearest difference is rating: Horse Evolution at 4.8 against Slime Evolution 2's 4.4. Horse Evolution also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 14). Slime Evolution 2's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Horse Evolution sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Slime Evolution 2 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Horse Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 62 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Horse Evolution's written reviews are positive against 73% of Slime Evolution 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Horse Evolution ships an update every 5 weeks, Slime Evolution 2 every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
