# Element Note vs Table & Spreadsheet Maker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Table & Spreadsheet Maker at none against Element Note's 3. Table & Spreadsheet Maker also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Element Note's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Element Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year. Table & Spreadsheet Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Element Note holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Element Note has 2.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Element Note's written reviews are positive against 78% of Table & Spreadsheet Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Element Note ships an update fortnightly, Table & Spreadsheet Maker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
