# Yureeca vs Flashword

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashword at every 2 weeks against Yureeca's every 3 months. Yureeca's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yureeca sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Flashword sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yureeca ships an update every 3 months, Flashword every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
