# Launch VPN vs Ethical Secure VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Launch VPN at 3.9 against Ethical Secure VPN's 2.0. Ethical Secure VPN's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 80%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Launch VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Ethical Secure VPN sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launch VPN holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Launch VPN's written reviews are positive against 96% of Ethical Secure VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Launch VPN ships an update fortnightly, Ethical Secure VPN every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
