# Debatium vs Conversation starters

The clearest difference is update cadence: Debatium at every 2 days against Conversation starters's every 2 weeks. Debatium also leads on ratings volume (230 vs 2) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). Conversation starters's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Debatium sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Conversation starters sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Conversation starters holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Debatium has 230 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Debatium's written reviews are positive against 0% of Conversation starters's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Debatium ships an update every 2 days, Conversation starters every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
