# TicketMania vs TV Remote

The clearest difference is ads: TV Remote at none against TicketMania's shown. TV Remote also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). TicketMania's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TicketMania sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and TV Remote sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TicketMania ships an update every 5 days, TV Remote every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
