# Mega Adventure SG vs StepDex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mega Adventure SG at fortnightly against StepDex's every 2 months. Mega Adventure SG also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). StepDex's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Mega Adventure SG against 5.0 for StepDex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StepDex has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mega Adventure SG ships an update fortnightly, StepDex every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
