# MDRK vs VPN

The clearest difference is rating: VPN at 4.6 against MDRK's 2.7. VPN also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 3). MDRK's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. MDRK asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 4.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MDRK ships an update every 3 weeks, VPN monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
