# Pedometer vs Kinetic Pacer

The clearest difference is ads: Kinetic Pacer at none against Pedometer's shown. Pedometer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Kinetic Pacer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
