# SimpRec vs FocusFlow

The clearest difference is update cadence: FocusFlow at fortnightly against SimpRec's every 2 months. FocusFlow also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpRec sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and FocusFlow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimpRec ships an update every 2 months, FocusFlow fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
