# Techwich vs Talkpal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Talkpal at 3.8K against Techwich's 3. Techwich's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Techwich sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Talkpal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Techwich holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talkpal has 3.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
