# Wish For Yellow vs Bubblegum

The clearest difference is ads: Bubblegum at none against Wish For Yellow's shown. Bubblegum also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days) and ratings volume (174 vs 3). Wish For Yellow's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wish For Yellow sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Bubblegum sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubblegum holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubblegum has 174 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Wish For Yellow's written reviews are positive against 80% of Bubblegum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wish For Yellow ships an update every 8 days, Bubblegum every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
