# Hodges Bay vs 1 Hotels Hodges Bay and 1 Hotels both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Hodges Bay's written reviews are positive against 29% of 1 Hotels's. Hodges Bay also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). 1 Hotels's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 1 Hotels has 1.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
