# Front & Back Camera Recording vs Duo Video

The clearest difference is update cadence: Duo Video at every 3 weeks against Front & Back Camera Recording's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Front & Back Camera Recording sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Duo Video sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Front & Back Camera Recording ships an update every 7 months, Duo Video every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
