# MagiCam vs ASMR Makeup Fun

The clearest difference is update cadence: MagiCam at every 2 days against ASMR Makeup Fun's every 3 weeks. MagiCam also leads on review sentiment (57% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagiCam sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and ASMR Makeup Fun sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ASMR Makeup Fun holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6.1K and 9.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of MagiCam's written reviews are positive against 42% of ASMR Makeup Fun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MagiCam ships an update every 2 days, ASMR Makeup Fun every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
