# Buddy Playground vs Poor Eddie

The clearest difference is rating: Poor Eddie at 4.4 against Buddy Playground's 4.0. Buddy Playground's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buddy Playground sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Poor Eddie sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poor Eddie holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buddy Playground has 42 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.
