# 5DDisplayer vs HoloMissYou

The clearest difference is rating: HoloMissYou at 1.9 against 5DDisplayer's 1.5. 5DDisplayer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (108 vs 14). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HoloMissYou holds the better App Store score, 1.9 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5DDisplayer has 108 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of 5DDisplayer's written reviews are positive against 0% of HoloMissYou's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

5DDisplayer ships an update every 3 weeks, HoloMissYou every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
