# Woolx Merino vs Stores

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Woolx Merino at none against Stores's 1. Woolx Merino also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 5). Stores's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stores sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Woolx Merino asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Woolx Merino against 5.0 for Stores. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Woolx Merino has 2.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Woolx Merino's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stores's.

Woolx Merino ships an update fortnightly, Stores every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
