# DnDD vs HaloLive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DnDD at none against HaloLive's 13. DnDD also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). HaloLive's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HaloLive sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. DnDD asks for nothing beyond the download.

DnDD ships an update every 10 months, HaloLive every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
