# ASC vs Wicked Audio

The clearest difference is rating: ASC at 3.3 against Wicked Audio's 2.5. ASC also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (55 vs 13). Wicked Audio's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ASC holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 55 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of ASC's written reviews are positive against 36% of Wicked Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ASC ships an update every 2 weeks, Wicked Audio every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
