# ASC vs Vododex

The clearest difference is rating: Vododex at 5.0 against ASC's 3.3. ASC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (55 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vododex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASC has 55 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ASC ships an update every 2 weeks, Vododex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
