# Vanishmail vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vanishmail at weekly against Temp Mail's every 6 months. Vanishmail also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vanishmail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Temp Mail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vanishmail against 5.0 for Temp Mail. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vanishmail has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Vanishmail ships an update weekly, Temp Mail every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
