# Vanishmail vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is monetization model: Temp Mail at free with in-app purchases against Vanishmail's subscription. Vanishmail's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (23 vs 7). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vanishmail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Temp Mail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Vanishmail against 5.0 for Temp Mail. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 7 respectively.

Vanishmail ships an update weekly, Temp Mail every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
