# CMP Events vs Medallia Experience

The clearest difference is rating: Medallia Experience at 5.0 against CMP Events's 2.9. CMP Events's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Medallia Experience holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CMP Events has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CMP Events ships an update every 3 weeks, Medallia Experience every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
