# AddisMapTransit vs E

The clearest difference is update cadence: E at every 6 weeks against AddisMapTransit's every 10 months. AddisMapTransit's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AddisMapTransit ships an update every 10 months, E every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
